Dear friends,

I intend to effectuate a nonlinear inelastic analysis to a building to obtain the Park and Ang damage index.

I am using the IDARC 2D software that automatically calculates it however the IDARC is not very simple to use and because of that I intend to use the SAP2000

My question is :

How can I calculate the damage index in SAP2000?

One of the parametres in the formula is the plastic energy dissipation demand during the design ground motion. How do i get it from SAP2000 ?
